Bio Tsuzuki is a shinigami with a dark past. It is hinted that while alive he committed terrible crimes, but as a shinigami he now helps the victims of supernatural villains. He is very powerful; he can command twelve shikigami to aid him. He also uses scroll magic and heals incredibly quickly. His partner in the ministry is Hisoka.
In his spare time, Tsuzuki is incredibly lazy and loves sweets (such as Cinnabons, but who could blame him for that?). This creates a contrast to his personality while working. He develops friendships with those he helps and is incredibly loyal. He is self-sacrificing (literally) and will do anything it takes to protect the people he cares for.
In the anime, Tsuzuki is frequently shown with dog ears and a tail to express his happiness. He does not actually have ears or a tail.
